T1134 foreign affiliate information return software
Prepare the T1134 summary and a supplement for each foreign affiliate, check them against the CRA's rules and file them electronically.
Who must file
A Canadian resident taxpayer, or a partnership, with a foreign affiliate at any time in the year files a T1134: a summary, and a supplement for each foreign affiliate. Smaller holdings in dormant or inactive affiliates can be exempt; the T1134 instructions set out the conditions.
Deadline
The T1134 is due 10 months after the end of the reporting entity's tax year, or a partnership's fiscal period: a year ending December 31 is due by October 31 of the next year.
What AuraTax does for you

Frequently asked questions
Do I file one T1134 per foreign affiliate?
One T1134 per reporting entity: a summary, with a supplement for each foreign affiliate. AuraTax numbers the supplements and keeps those numbers on every amendment.
How do I amend a T1134?
Open the filed return in AuraTax and amend it. Each supplement is sent with the action code the CRA requires — unchanged, amended, new or deleted — and a deleted supplement's number is never reused.
How much does it cost to file a T1134 with AuraTax?
Preparing the return is free. You pay when you transmit it: one T1134 return at a time, or every return of every program with the yearly licence. Both prices are shown on this page and on the pricing page, before taxes.
Can I file the T1134 on a Mac or on Linux?
Yes. AuraTax runs in the browser, and the desktop app installs on Windows, macOS and Linux with the same programs, for files you prefer to keep on your own machine.
